Aimed at hobbyists and designers, this project involved the design of a knitting graph book, an essential tool for knitters to sketch and plan their own stitch patterns. Unlike standard graph paper, the pages feature rectangular grids that mirror the actual proportions of knit stitches, making them ideal for accurate charting in techniques like Fair Isle, Intarsia, and lace.
I was responsible for the full cover illustration, created digitally using vector graphics. The design combines a modern, clean look with subtle crafty cues to appeal to a creative, adult audience. Internally, I developed a simple, functional layout that keeps the focus on usability and pattern clarity.
This was my first publishing project and a chance to translate practical needs into thoughtful, user-friendly design.
